Gartec Home provide 3 packages for servicing, each covering a 1 year period. All our maintenance package holders have access to our 24 hour breakdown line, just in case you need us.

Package 1: Two Annual Service Visits

Designed for very low use lifts where you are happy to pay for parts, labour and unexpected call-outs separately.

– Two engineer visits each year including 50 point check

– Lubrication of drive, cleaning of pit and platform, 24 hour breakdown line, parts & labour discount

Package 2: Three Annual Service Visits

Ideal for regularly used lifts, where you are happy to pay for parts, labour and unexpected call-outs separately.

– Three engineer visits each year, including 50 point check

– Lubrication of drive, cleaning of pit and platform, 24 hour breakdown line, parts & labour discount

Package 3: Four Annual Service Visits with Parts

Our most comprehensive home lift maintenance package, covering you for every eventuality.

– Four engineer visits each year, including 50 point check

– Parts and labour included

– Unexpected call outs included

– Lubrication of drive, cleaning of pit and platform, 24 hour breakdown line

Why Lift Servicing Matters

Keeping any device, machine or equipment properly maintained is vital to the lifetime and safety of the item – and the same applies with our lifts. Keeping an eye on the lift to check for any potential problems or parts which need replacing will extend the lifetime of your home lift and give you peace of mind that it has been properly assessed.

All the home lifts installed by Gartec Home will have undergone extensive safety checks, and are fully compliant with industry standards. Even with this, it is recommended that you have at least 2 professional lift servicing visits every year. It is also the responsibility of the home owner to keep on top of these checks and to ensure proper practise is followed – and your engineer will help with this during service visits too.

 

What Do I Need to Do to Maintain my Home Lift?

Most home technology requires some form of checks to make sure it is working properly – and the person using it every day will be best placed to notice any changes or things going wrong. If you do, just get in touch with Gartec Home and we can help out.

Generally you won’t need to do anything mechanical or messy with our home lifts as they are self contained, though tasks like cleaning your home lift regularly will help. We’ve put together a handy blog to some simple lift maintenance you can do at home – just click here to read it!

Most importantly, don’t worry – when we install your new home lift, you will be given a full handover and training on how to use the lift and a pack of information to remind you later, and we are always here if you need anything.
